It's Monday...What Are You Reading? (6.18.12)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

    1. So far I am really enjoying The Last Queen. I've read a few books by CW Gortner and have his newest book, The Queen's Vow, which looks really good, too.

Still Missing is good - I haven't listened to it lately, but am hoping to get back to it this week.

  2. I want to read The Last Queen. I love historical fiction. I liked The Masque of the Black Tulip and Wallflower in Bloom. I still need to read Summer Nights which I also have for review.

Good luck with your reading challenge!

    1. I love historical fiction, too, and usually just read books related to Tudor England, but I was a bit fascinated with the women of Castille as well!

Summer Nights will be my first Fool's Gold book - I've been wanting to read the series, but haven't gotten to it. Hopefully after reading Summer Nights, I will get to the previous books!

    1. I haven't been away and yet, still have a huge pile of books to review. I can't ever seem to get ahead with them! Oh well. I've decided I'm not going to stress over it anymore. They will get done when they get done!

    1. Good luck to you on that...I'm in the middle of two of my three books. At least those two will get done - I'm not so sure about the third one, but I'm going to try my best!

  6. Hi Kristin! Great reading list. I just sent you an email but was unsure if you would recognize the address. You were the winner of They Came Like Swallows by William Maxwell from The Key to the Gate a while back but I was unable to contact you through the Google Friend Connect. If you are still interested, email me your mailing address to thekeytothegate@gmail.com and I will get it out in the mail.
Glad to meet up with you through this meme!

    1. I really enjoy Susan Mallery's books - they are always fun! The cozies are great, too - not too graphic when it comes to the murders and I love the insights into all the different crafts/themes of the cozy.
