Bout of Books 5.0: Goals

I have decided to participate in the Bout of Books read-a-thon. Here is some info about the read-a-thon from the founders:

"The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda @ On a Book Bender and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal.  It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, August 13th and runs through Sunday, August 19th in whatever time zone you are in.  Bout of Books is low-pressure, and the only reading competition is between you and your usual number of books read in a week.  There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional.  For all Bout of Books 5.0 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. -From the Bout of Books 5.0 team"

My Goals:
  • To read/ listen at least 3 hours a day M-F and at least 5 hours on Saturday and Sunday
  • To finish at least 4 complete books, plus the 2 that I need to read only parts of
  • To listen to at least 3 hours of audio
  • To participate in at least 3 challenges
My List of Books (a combo of review books, library books and fun books):
  • Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel - need to read Part 2 for read-a-long
  • The Color of Tea by Hannah Tunnicliffe - need to finish
  • Big Sky Mountain by Linda Lael Miller
  • Return to Willow Lake by Susan Wiggs
  • Moonlight Road by Robyn Carr
  • Split Second by Catherine Coulter
  • A Stitch in Crime by Betty Hechtman
  • Where Azaelas Blooms by Sherryl Woods
  • Banana Split by Josi S. Kilpack
These are are audio books that I am hoping to make progress on:
  • The Hundred Flowers by Gail Tsukiyama (audio)
  • I've Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella (audio)

Wish me luck and let me know if you are participating so I can cheer you on!!!
