It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

I'll look forward to your review of Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker. I sort of want to read that one.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to get to it later this week - just have to get some review books read first!
DeleteLooks like another great week for you! I loved Summer House...and I am curious about The Typewriter Girl.
ReplyDeleteHere's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
I am almost done with Summer House and am really enjoying it. The Typewriter Girl sounds interesting and I am looking forward to reading it.
DeleteBoy...you are a reading machine...no way I could keep up with you!
ReplyDeleteThanks...some weeks I definitely get more reading done than others.
DeleteGlad you're feeling better - and ooh allthose lovely books, hope you enjoy them all :-)

Thanks...so am I! Although I didn't mind all the extra reading time while being sick!
DeleteEnjoy your set of books. The Winter Palace caught my attention.
ReplyDeleteThanks. The Winter Palace was really good!
DeleteGlad you're feeling better, hope your training now progresses without hurdles. Looking forward to your Winter Palace review and thanks for the heads up on the mini bloggiesta ... I haven't managed to participate in one yet and I'd really love to.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading :)
Thanks. I just put my review of Winter Palace up this morning...it was really good! I already started my to-do list for Bloggiesta...can't wait! I always get so much done during those events!
DeleteBeing sick is the worst! I'm glad you're better now. I hope all your books this week are fun reads!
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm glad I'm better, too. The only good thing about being sick is all the extra reading time I got in!
DeleteCan't wait to see your review of The Kommandants Girl. I really enjoyed it when I read it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading that one. Have you read The Diplomat's Wife or The Ambassador's Daughter?
DeleteSorry you got the flu! Glad you were able to read while sick.
ReplyDeleteI'm just glad it's over!
DeleteGlad you're over the stomach bug! Those are the worst. I need to take part in Bloggiesta, but it seems like I never have the time to put in to any of these big community things lately. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI always find that I get a ton of things done during Bloggiesta and still manage to end the weekend with a whole new list of things I want to do after seeing what everyone else is working on!
DeleteGood luck with your challenge walk! The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society is sweet

Thanks! I'm really enjoying The Avalon Ladies Scrapbooking Society. Did you read her other book, Friendship Bread?
DeleteI'm glad you are feeling better! It sounds like you have some great historical fiction picked out for this week - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYes, lots of good historical fiction coming up!
DeleteI'm glad you're feeling better! Now, just stay clear of anyone with Influenza A. That seems to be absolutely rampant these days.
ReplyDeleteI just picked up Mrs. Lincoln's Dressmaker at the bookstore on Saturday, after having watched the movie Lincoln on Friday night. I can't wait to get to it and learn a bit more about Mrs. Kekley. Enjoy!
I've heard good things about the movie Lincoln...am definitely going to have to see that one!
