Stacking the Shelves (37) 3.24.13

Tynga of Tynga's Reviews is starting a new meme to spotlight the books we receive each week.  Here's what I got:

For Review:

The Queen's Rivals: A Novel of the Grey Sisters
by Brandy Purdy

This is for an upcoming blog tour and I am looking forward to reading it!!!
Pictures at an Exhibition
by Camilla MacPherson
I was approached by the author to read and review her book. The premise sounds really interesting and I am hoping to get to this book soon.
The Sassy Belles (e-book)
by Beth Albright
This is the first in a series of books by former Days of Our Lives actress Beth Albright. It looks like it will be chick lit - Southern style!

From the Library:
Between the Plums (audio)
by Janet Evanovich
This combo contains three of the short Plum novellas - two of which I need to listen to. I already listened to Visions of Sugar Plums earlier this year. I'm currently up to Plum Lovin' and then after the thirteenth book, will need to listen to Plum Lucky.

Lean Mean Thirteen (audio)
by Janet Evanovich

I just love listening to this series and am hoping to be caught up by the end of the year!

JFK: History in an Hour (e-book)
by Sinead Fitzgibbon

I recently found out about these books and love them. Of course, the JFK lover in me had to get this one!

Queen Elizabeth: A Very Brief History (free e-book)
by Mark Black

This is a series of books similar to the History in an Hour. I thought I would give them a try with this free one!

From Netgalley

The Apple Orchard (e-book)
by Susan Wiggs

This is an upcoming release for the first book in Susan Wiggs's newest series, Bella Vista. I've read quite a lot of books by her in the past and am excited to start this series!

What did you get this week?

  1. Great haul! The Queen's Rivals looks really good!

  2. Love the Stephanie Plum series! I've kind of gone way out of order. I've read 1, 15-19, and Plum Lovin' somewhere in the middle!

Check out my SP & STS.

  3. You got some mighty interesting titles this week. I also got The Sassy Belles as well this week. Come visit me as well.

  4. Looking forward to your review of The Apple Orchard! Have a good week, Kristin.
