The Sunday Post #30 (7.6.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead.

I've decided to try a new weekly meme - a place where I can do both a weekly wrap up and share what books I get all in one post, so I'm going to give The Sunday Post a try, and also link up with Sheila's It's Monday Post over at Book Journey.

And, we're back from vacation...Mexico was fabulous!!! We usually go to Aruba each year, but my cousin was getting married in Playa del Carmen, so we decided to go and make that our vacation for the year. It was so much fun being away but still hanging out with family. Two of my brothers were there with their wives and one had their 1 year-old daughter with them. My dad also went and I got to see some cousins that I hadn't seen in almost 10 years. While I didn't get as much reading done as I would have liked, I enjoyed hanging out with my family - swimming with my niece, hanging in the pool with my sisters-in-law and brothers, and my cousins.

My view for the week

Of course, coming back home wasn't easy but I still had a few more days off before heading back to work.

Have a great week everyone!!!

    1. It really was, Katherine. I liked the Kate White book, but like her Bailey Weggins books better - this was a stand-alone. I've enjoyed all the Susan Mallery books I've read...I find them easy, quick romantic reads. Which ones have you read?

  9. Yay for vacations and views like that one. The weekend drove me batty with things to do and little reading time. Back in the groove today!
