#Fitreaders: Weekly Check-in November 11

I had a pretty good week - even made it to the gym this week ;) I got in 2 5k's and I think I may finally have turned the corner with my sickness - yay!!! I'm slowly easing back into things - it's amazing how tired I still am, even though I've basically been doing nothing, but I guess my body really needed that rest after being so sick for so long. I'm hoping to get in so good walks this week - not sure yet on exactly what the plan will be as it will depend on the weather and how I'm feeling, but I am definitely heading the right direction. The good news with all this is that somehow, I didn't end up gaining any weight despite not really working out - I guess having to drink so much water and not really having much of an appetite for 4 weeks ended up being a good thing!

My October/November Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend - 3/5, 1/2
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F - Met
  • Eat mindfully/eat enough (esp. in important while training!) - Met
My training plan for the Challenge Walk MS I'll be doing in March of 2017:

* Put on hold until I get better!

  • Tuesday & Thursday: 4 miles
  • Saturday & Sunday: Distance walks (distances will vary)
  • Try to attend one yoga class a week
Here's how my week went:

Nov  5:  9,611 steps

Nov  7:  15,136 steps

,217 steps
Nov 11:
9,306 steps

Total Steps: 77,092 steps

  • Started & finished The Stranger by Camilla Lackberg, narrated by Simon Vance

How did your week go? You can find this week's link-up here.

***In March of 2017, I'll be doing the CHALLENGE WALK MS in Savannah, GA. It is a three-day, 50-mile walk that tests your strength and your spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of people with MS and their families.
