#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in December 16

Another good week. We had some really cold weather and some snow - winter is definitely making it's appearance early this year! The dogs love being out in the snow - it's times like this that I so wish our yard was fenced in so the dogs could just go out and play! But, I'm afraid they would run - at least one of them, if they saw anyone walking by, so it's not worth it! So, leash walks it is for now! And at least I get the steps in :)

December Goals:

  • 10K steps M-F, at least 7,500 steps on the weekend - 5/5, 2/2
  • 30 minutes of active walking every day, M-F - met
  • Eat mindfully/eat enough (esp. in important while training!) - met

My training plan for the Challenge Walk MS I'll be doing in March of 2017:

  • 4 miles, 2 days a week, interval training - Met
  • Distance walks (distances will vary, try to do 2 days, back-to-back ) - Didn't do this week
  • Try to attend one yoga class a week- didn't make it this week :(

Total Steps: 107,473 steps

Audiobooks listened to this week (since I'm not much of a music fan, I listen to books while I walk):

  • Started & Finished The Invisible Guardian by Dolores Redondo, narrated by Coleen Marlo

How did your week go? You can find this week's link-up here.

***In March of 2017, I'll be doing the CHALLENGE WALK MS in Savannah, GA. It is a three-day, 50-mile walk that tests your strength and your spirit, and makes an extraordinary difference in the lives of people with MS and their families.

  1. We got snow on Saturday and I did get some steps in when I shoveled. But then my neighbor came over with his snowblower and after he was done, I went back inside! :-)
