  1. You've got some good books on the go. Everyone seems to have read Major Pettigrew. Am I missing out on something really good?

    Happy reading!

  2. I, too, keep hearing about Major Pettigrew. I think I may have to add him to the TBR list.

  8. Thanks everyone for stopping by.

Major Pettigrew is excellent...I highly recommend it. I am hoping to have my review up for it this week or early next week at the latest.

The Paris Wife is also really good so far - it's about Ernest Hemmingway's first wife. Review will be up Wednesday (with a giveaway!) and the author is doing a guest post on Thursday.

  9. I'm curious about Cleopatra. I heard about it once long back and saw mainly good reviews. I'll have to check out that book again. Have a great week, Kristin!

  10. @Aths Cleopatra is really interesting but it is slow reading. It was the pick for my book club in January and once I realized I couldn't attend the meeting due to a work commitment, I put the book aside to do some other reading. I really need to get back to it soon so I can finish it!
