It's Monday - What Are You Reading? (6.13.11)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

Last week was Audio Book Week hosted by Jen at Devourer of Books and I had a great time finding out about new audio books as well as resources for finding them. I'm hoping this week is productive as far as reading goes - I have a few review books to get to as well as some other books that I put down on the Spring Reading Thing challenge that I still need to finish reading...only one more week left in that challenge!

Books Completed last week:
  • A Creed in Stone Creek by Linda Lael Miller (mine)
  • Creed's Honor by Linda Lael Miller (review book)
  • Slate by Brian Rowe (e-book, review book)
Reading Now:
  • The Confessions of Catherine de Medici by CW Gortner (review book)
  • Chasing the Night by Iris Johansen (library audio book)
  • Cleopatra: A Life by Stacy Schiff (book club book, mine)
  • The D Word by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke (e-book, review book)
  • I'll Have What She's Having by Liz Fenton and Lisa Steinke (e-book, review book)
  • Alone by Lisa Gardner (mine, e-book)

@ Bonnie: The Confessions of Catherine de Medici is really good so far...I'm hoping to set aside a huge chunk of time today to continue reading it.

  4. I have been reading a lot of review books lately too. I finished those two Creed books and have the third on my Kindle waiting for me. My Monday Report is here. Have a great week!

  5. I really enjoyed Catherine M. Very informative. Great books!

  6. Wow you had a great week. I have been trying to get all my review books done as well. Have a great week!

  7. I have a hard time with audio books. Being disabled with only one hand that works fully, I never know what to do with my hands while listening. Boy I wish I could still do all the hobbies I used to, then audio books would be awesome!!!

  8. I celebrated 24 years of keeping a book diary. The flu kept me from reading at my usually insane pace but I did finish some books. Come see what they were.

  9. Hope you enjoy our books! xoxo, Liz & Lisa
