It's Monday - What Are You Reading? (6.5.11)

It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.

  2. @Bonnie I really enjoyed Shelter Mountain...it's Preacher's story and of course Jack and Mel's story continues from the first one. I started reading Cleopatra back in January for my book club meeting that month, never finished the book and never made it to that meeting - I really just need to finish it! I liked what I had read so far.

  7. @Marce I had never read Lisa Gardner before but last year and then again this year I was asked to participate in her blog tours, so I decided I would now go back and read the beginning of the series.

  9. @Tethered Mommy I started it back in January - it was our book club pick for that month. I realized I wasn't going to be able to go to the meeting, so I put it aside. I liked what I had read so far, now I just need to finish it. It is a slow book, but I found it to be very interesting.

  12. I'm looking forward to your review of the Amy Tan: I'll be teaching a World Lit. class to 10th graders next year so I'm looking for a variety of strong contemporary books, both adult and YA.
And I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog too: Following now, and hope you might consider doing the same, Kristin.
