It’s Monday What Are you Reading , hosted by Sheila, is the perfect way for me to begin my week and allows me to focus on what needs to be read and to see what I have or have not accomplished the previous week. I also enjoy discovering new books by visiting other participants blogs.
I am in the middle of participating in my first ever read-a-thon, the Summer Wrap-Up Read-a-thon which runs from August 4 - August 12, and I am having a great time and getting in tons of reading. I also found out that there is another read-a-thon coming up right after this one ends - the Bout of Books Read-a-thon runs from August 13 - August 19 and I will be participating in that one, too. Perhaps by the end of both read-a-thons, I might just be caught up on some of the review books that I have received lately.

What
about you? What does your reading
week look like this
week? Whatever it is,
happy reading and have a good
week!
The readathons sound like so much fun and a great way to catch up, I haven't done one in ages!
ReplyDeleteStill Missing was intense, I'm off to check out your review.
Have another wonderful week :)
So far, I've gotten quite a few books done, so I'm pretty happy.
DeleteYes, intense is definitely the right word for Still Missing - great but WOW!
Okay - so many on your list that I want to read too! Are you loving Girl with Dragon Tattoo series? I liked Robyn Carr and do have more of her on my Kindle that I want to get back to. Also, On the Run intrigues me. Great list!
ReplyDeleteI am loving the Girl With the Dragon Tattoo series. I had read book 1 about 2 years ago and then never got around to the other two books. I decided to listen to book 1 so that I could refresh my memory of what happened before starting book 2. Once I finished book 2 I couldn't wait to start book 3, but had some review books to get to first.
DeleteI love the Robyn Carr series. Have you read her Grace Valley series? I want to read that one next.
Goodness - lots of book you've finished.
ReplyDeleteHave a good week, happy reading
My Monday Reading
That's because of the read-a-thon which started Saturday. Since then I've been averaging 1 book a day.
DeleteGreat list of books! I still have not read the Steig Larsson series.
ReplyDeleteRebecca @ The Key to the Gate
They are really good books - a little disturbing at times, but overall, they hook you in from the first page.
DeleteI participated in one Read-a-Thon awhile ago, but got distracted by other books...sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have the second Stieg Larsson book on my stack...soon!
Hope you enjoyed Ninepins.
Here's MY MONDAY MEMES POST
The second Stieg Larsson book was great and I just started the third this morning.
DeleteNinepins was good. Have you read anything else by her?
I have those Stieg Larsson books on my TBR mountainm but haven't had a chance to start them yet. And I am a big fan of Iris Johansen. My Monday Report is here. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI read the first book about 2 years ago and then just didn't have time to get to the next two. But I decided this summer both were getting read. They are really good, by the way!
DeleteSometimes I think I am the only person in the world who hasn't read the Stieg Larsson books yet! They do look awesome, I have got to get around to reading them :)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading this week!!!
Check out what I'm reading and enter for a giveaway!
They completely suck you in...you don't want to put the books down!
DeleteFantastic Selection of Books!!
ReplyDeleteI am reading Sweet Talk by Julie Garwoof right now.
Happy Reading!!
I'm not familiar with that book - will have to check it out.
DeleteYou have been incredibly busy on the book front! I look forward to reading what you think about the Larsson books.
ReplyDeleteThat's only because of the read-a-thon. The Larsson books are really good. Did you read them?
DeleteAnother great week of reading for you. Hope the read-a-thons result in tons of reading as well. Loved Spring Fever
ReplyDeleteI am hoping they do, too. Spring Fever was good. Have you read any others by her?
DeleteThat is a big stack of books read and to be read, awesome! I haven't read any of the Larsson books, I suppose I'll get around to them one of these days ;)
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend them - they suck you in and you don't want to put them down until you are done.
DeleteI'm doing the read-a-thons too! Good luck!
