Book Blog Walkers: February Weekly Check-in Feb 28, 2014






 
Another month come and gone in 2014...this year is flying by and my 1/2 marathon is now 2 weeks away!!! While I'm very excited about it, I'm also a bit nervous! This weekend last year, I was down in Charleston, SC participating in the MS 50 mile, 3-day walk - what a great experience that was and as this year's event kicks off today, I wish all the walkers a fun, safe journey over the next 3 days! It was during that event last year that my mom and I decided we wanted to try walking a 1/2 marathon and here we are, a year later getting ready for our first one!

Here's how my week went:

Feb 22:  rest
Feb 23:  2.5 miles outside
Feb 24:  30 minutes outdoors/30 minutes indoors
Feb 25:  30 minutes indoor walking
Feb 26:  5k at gym (on treadmill) 
Feb 27: 30 minutes indoor walking
Feb 28:  1 hour indoor walking

  1. You are really doing a good job. Running a 1/2 marathon is a big deal!! I can't wait to see your results. How fun too that your mom is going to join you. Love that.
