The Sunday Post #42 (9.28.14)

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news. A post to recap the past week, showcase books and things we have received and share news about what is coming up on our blog for the week ahead. I'm also going to link this up with Sheila's It's Monday post over at Book Journey

Usually my weekends are a time for me to devote huge chunks of time to reading. This weekend, however, I decided to get all my errands done on Saturday, which included picking up my new phone! I was actually eligible for an upgrade early this year - Verizon was hoping I would jump on the iPhone bandwagon, but sadly, I am an Android girl and love my Samsong Galaxy phone! I upgraded to the Galaxy 5 and spent the day playing around with it, trying to get used to all the new features. So far, I love it!!!

Today's plan is to get caught up on reviews - I need to get back to scheduling my reviews for the week. Trying to write them each morning is making for a stressful girl and I want to go back to enjoying blogging. So, no reading today until I get this week all planned out and my reviews written!

Have a great week everyone!!!

  1. My hubs is a Samsung Galaxy dude while I hold on fiercely to my iPhone. He like to make fun of puny phone :)

Great books to review this week - good luck today! I'm doing the exact same thing today, too!!! Wish me luck!!

  2. Our household is mainly Samsung Galaxy except the teen who has moved to the darkside Apple :) You had a busy reading week and have lots planned for the blog this coming week.

  3. We're all iPhones here except for my daughter who has a Galaxy and loves it. Hope you enjoy your new phone! I'm trying to get a week ahead schedule-wise but am lucky if I can get 3 days out. One day I hope to be more organized! I'm curious about the Kristen Higgins book. I read one by her and while I loved her writing I didn't love the main characters. I'm hoping to try another one but will be looking for reviews. Have a great week!

  4. I am thinking about upgrading to the Galaxy 5 too. Looking forward to Burn as I really like the Michael Bennett series. Have a great week.

  5. All the best for achieving your goal of catching up on reviews. I loved In Your Dreams by KH, so good. I snagged The Silent Sister from NetGalley and hope to get to it eventually.

Enjoy the new phone! I'm and Apple user, but don't think I would get their latest phone!

  6. I'm an android girl too. LOL! Your books are awesome! Hope you're enjoying them!

    Here's mine!
My Week in a Wrapped #1

  7. Having reviews scheduled does take a lot of the stress out of blogging. I highly recommend it. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

  8. Android all the way! I wouldn't own an iphone if they gave it to me...
