#FitReaders: Weekly Check-in May 13

So, this was a pretty crazy week, work-wise. We had our first-ever fundraiser, and while it was a success - YAY!!! - it was crazy right up til the start of the event with all the running around and last minute to-do's that needed doing. But, as I said, the event was a success and hopefully we will continue to do it. That being said, I'm glad we have a while before the planning starts for the next one, though it is fun to get all dressed up and I have to say, all my working out and healthy eating has done me good - I felt great in my dress and got a lot of compliments!!! Oh and I even had to have my dress taken in - it was too big when I tried it on...big win for me!!!

This was actually the second of three fundraisers I am attending this month, though the other two are through my husband's work. The first one I also had to get all dressed up (that was the first week of May) and the final one is this coming week, but is a bit more casual and is in NYC - Brooklyn to be exact. I can't wait for that one...I'll share details about that next week!
