#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
It was a pretty good week. I got in some good walks as the weather was pretty decent. But now the heat is in full-swing, so I think I'll be hitting the gym this coming week at least a few times, so I am not passing out while I walk! When it is so hot out, I tend to gravitate to salads for dinner - they are just so light and easy. I usually switch between adding in grilled chicken or crab cakes. My current favorite salad mix is the Dole Chopped Salad Kit - the Sunflower Crunch kit - it's got sunflower seeds, carrots, cabbage, romaine, kale, green onions, and Dole Sweet Onion & Citrus Dressing. It also comes with bacon bits, but I don't use that. I buy the family size bag and that's enough for 3 meals for me and when I add a crab cake - delicious!!! If I am in the mood for chicken, I usually do a Cesar salad - again, one of the Dole salad kits - they are just so easy!

It's probably time for me to start on salads, but I'm just having such fun with my new blender. Crab cakes do sound good though.
ReplyDeleteI love salads in the summer, but I hate making them, so I end up ordering out. I haven't done the salad kits in a while; I should look into them again.
