#FitReaders is hosted by Geeky Bloggers Book Blog and That’s What I’m Talking About
It was a pretty good week. I got in some good walks as the weather was pretty decent. But now the heat is in full-swing, so I think I'll be hitting the gym this coming week at least a few times, so I am not passing out while I walk! When it is so hot out, I tend to gravitate to salads for dinner - they are just so light and easy. I usually switch between adding in grilled chicken or crab cakes. My current favorite salad mix is the Dole Chopped Salad Kit - the Sunflower Crunch kit - it's got sunflower seeds, carrots, cabbage, romaine, kale, green onions, and Dole Sweet Onion & Citrus Dressing. It also comes with bacon bits, but I don't use that. I buy the family size bag and that's enough for 3 meals for me and when I add a crab cake - delicious!!! If I am in the mood for chicken, I usually do a Cesar salad - again, one of the Dole salad kits - they are just so easy!
