First Book of the Year 2018

Each year, Sheila over at Book Journey makes a big deal over what the first book she'll read will be for the new year and once again she's asked us to join her. I have joined in for the last 3 years and it's always a lot of fun seeing what book everyone selects. Be sure to stop by Sheila's post to see the collage she makes of everyone participating!

For my first book of the year, I am once again going with a book from my bookshelf - a trend I've been following for the past 3 years straight! My book is the latest book by a favorite author ... Copycat by Alex Lake. I've read Alex's previous 2 books - After Anna and Killing Kate and they were both fantastic psychological thrillers ... I'm hoping this one will follow suit!

Summary:
Your stalker is everywhere.
Your stalker knows everything.
But the real problem is that your stalker is you.

Sarah Havenant discovers–when an old friend points it out–that there are two Facebook profiles in her name.

One, she recognizes: it is hers. The other, she has never seen. But everything in it is accurate. Recent photos of her and her friends, her and her husband, her and her kids. Even of her new kitchen. A photo taken inside her house.

She is bemused, angry, and worried. Who was able to do this? Any why?

But this, it soon turns out, is just the beginning. It is only now–almost as though someone has been watching, waiting for her to find the profile–that her problems really start…

So, what's your first book of 2018 going to be?
